FAQs

Question: I just want to book loads. Do you offer a Third Party Carrier Payment Service?

Answer: Yes! We can collect your Invoices, audit your freight bills, pay your carriers, and refund any differences back to you.

Question: I want to use the system for managing my loads but want to use my own accounting system to pay carriers?

Answer: That can be arranged. The system can transfer data straight to your system with ease.

Question: We do not have an IT department? Can you host the server and how would we access it?

Answer: We can host your application as we currently do for others. A stable internet connection is required. This is the preferred method for clients seeking Third Party Carrier Audit/Payment Services.

Question: My business is different from most others. Can the system be customized for my specific needs?

Answer: Yes! Most every client has been customized for their specific needs. You don’t conform to our operation, we conform to yours.

Question: We have multiple DC’s around the country. Can these offices be networked to run on the same system?

Answer: Yes! Either through your own network or the Internet.

Question: We are a buying group that offers a Logistics Program and services to it’s member companies. We would need to set up each company separate as they are competitors. Can this be arranged?

Answer: Yes, we can set up all of your member companies on the same server but not allow access to each other. You, however, would be able to see all companies data (live). We can also set programs, such as the load board, to allow limited shared data so they can see where each others carriers are delivering and on which days for enhancing continuous moves and round tripping efforts.

Question: We are a buying group that pays another company to manage the Third Party Billing, for our member companies, but would like to do it ourselves? Can this be done?

Answer: No Problem. While we also offer a Third Party Billing Service, we recognize there are companies that do not want this option. One important item to keep in mind is that you can create an invoice to the customer when your load delivers (or before). There is no need to wait on your carrier to invoice you, or transmit any data to us in order to create an invoice.

Question: We spend a lot of time tracing shipments on third party carriers. What solutions can you offer to ease this burden?

Answer: Have your carriers EDI load status right into the load. We have created secure websites to allow carriers to key in load status on every load they are tendered. All they have to do is fill in the blanks for each load listed. They will only see their loads. Once submitted, your loads will auto update with this information. Loads having updated information will change colors so you can easily see which carriers are not providing updates. One great thing about this feature is, when a check call is made, “location” of the load is mandatory as is the “time” the load was at that location. The system then determines if the load is within the mileage range to meet the delivery schedule. If not, load data turns Red and warnings are sent to the manager. If the manager does not read the warning or respond, we can have the system place phone calls to any number of phones with the warning that this load is probably going to be late. (optional)

Question: We have separate divisions routing their own inbound shipments. We want to gain more control of the LTL shipments we can’t tie into current inbound loads. How can you help?

Answer: If your divisions are set up separately, our load board can help you. Normally the board displays each company’s orders individually by status and state, so they can see where all their orders are originating and delivering. You have the option to show the data for “all Companies” on the load board. This lets you to see all orders by origin and destination state. It also has an option for viewing multi- and single-pick/multi-drop consolidations instead of just multi-pick/single-drop routes.

Question: We don’t have any equipment or drivers. We don’t need payroll and safety programs. Do we have to “buy it all”?

Answer: No, and it is always available if you change your mind.
